It can happen that you have received an invoice from us, but that we have not been able to charge the invoiced amount from your bank account or credit card. In that case we will send you an email with a payment request, so that you can manually pay the invoice.
A payment can fail because of various reasons. The most common reasons are:
- Insufficient funds / credit card limit exceeded
- Expired / blocked credit card
- Closed bank account
- Transactions from Adyen (the company that processes our payments) are blocked by your creditcard/bank.
The reason of failure is not always known to us. If it is, we will mention this in the email we send you. If the reason is not known to us, we advice you to contact you bank for more information so that you can solve this issue for the next month(s)
If we see that your payments fail on a regular basis, we can decide to remove the payment method from your account because the payment method is most likely invalid. In that case you would need to add a new payment method to your Fastned account.
