  It could be that there is a plastic cover, covering the bottom part of the charge port. If so, this plastic cover needs to be removed in order to plug in the CCS connector.

Charge speed

The charge speed is up to 77 kW at our 150+ kW fast chargers for the 64 kWh edition. The charge speed at our other chargers is up to 50 kW for both the 39 and 64 kWh editions. In the charge curve below you can see the charge speed of the 64 kWh e-Niro at both chargers. On average, the Kia e-Niro charges 100 km in 15 – 25 minutes. The charge speed will drop in steps from 73% onwards.

The charge speed is up to 50 kW. The actual charge speed depends on the state of charge of the battery when plugging in. On average the Kia Soul EV charges 100 km in 20 - 25 minutes. Above 80% the charge speed requested by the car will slowly drop.

The charge speed for the Kia EV6 is up to 234 kW with our 150+ kW fast chargers and up to 50 kW at our other chargers. On average, the EV6 charges 100 km in 5 minutes (150+ kW charger) or in 30 minutes (50 kW charger). At a 150+ kW charger, the charge speed will slowly drop as of 85%.
